Trump orders removal of Federal Reserve governor

Donald Trump has stepped up efforts to exert control over the US central bank by sacking one of its governors for alleged mortgage fraud. In a statement, Mr Trump accused Lisa Cook of gross negligence. He has said he will only appoint governors who support his position.
